What would make your transmission whine? It sounds like how the power steering whines. I’ve never heard of it before. Help me out here please

Fluid level? Make sure it is not pilot bearing or throw out bearing noise. Does noise change with vehicle speed? noise with the clutch pedal in? Certain gear?

Manual or automatic in that 1994?

In a manual it is probably a bad bearing. If it were an auto that would indicate the trans pump being worn.

That makes sense The guy that I’m buying this from says he’s had this truck for four years and never had a problem with it. So if it’s just a bad bearing that would be easy.
