Trans question

[WIP1994]

I got a 1994 Ranger 4.0 4x4 with the A4LD that is on its way out. I keep looking for a used one but no luck. I found one from a 2000 explorer but i think in the 4R55E but I don't know if that will be compatible with the electronics. Anyone have any ideas before i decide to buy new.

4r55e you will need every harness , dash , hvac system , firewall , brake and gas pedal , downpipe with third 02 or weld one on of your own , shifter cable , gauge cluster ........ time ..... money . or a new truck . a4ld extinct
