i know this has mostlikely been covered but when i searched i didnt find much so here it is i have a 96 3.0 ranger 4wd with no trans from what iv read they came with a 4r44e and i forgot to mention i do have the bell housing for the 4r44e now for the question finding a trans seems to be difficult but i looked at an explorer trans it was a 4r55e and its bell housing is also detachable so will my bell fit the 4r55e and if so will my tcm operate it correctly what is the differance between the 44e and 55e lastly explorers came with several trans options was the 44e an option if so what year did they come in. again sorry if these have been answered but i was unable to find it and any help would be fantastic thank you o and what tourq converter would i use
