How often or when do you know to change the trans pan gasket? The guy at sears who did my trans fluid exchange said I needed a new one and showed me that supposedly some fluid was coming out! I have barely 62000 miles and just got a coolant flush, the trans fluid exchange, tire rotation, new tie rods and now this. ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED THANK YOU!

anytime you take the pan off you have to shange the gasket , and most of the time they have cork gaskets from the factory , which suck , so it would not surprise me if it leaked , rubber gaskets are 100x better

While you have it off go ahead and replace the filter, a fluid exchange does nothing for your filter (like changing your oil and not the filter)...
