Kind of a rookie mistake, but I didn’t flare the end of my trans line coming off the radiator.
I Started my truck this morning and low and behold the trans line blew off while I was in the house and spit out a bunch of transmission fluid ALL OVER.
The reason there is a rubber hose there in the first place is because I bent the metal trans line before install and decided to do rubber instead of tracking down another set.
I guess my question is ... has anyone ever ran all rubber trans lines? Or is that a bad idea?
This has happened before and I don’t want a third time to be a charm.

I wouldn't recommend running all rubber lines. If they get cut, scuffed, too hot etc while driving it would be goodbye transmission.

Just flare the parts where your splicing in the rubber line and use 2 hose clamps on each end.

That’s a valid point, I’m just trying to get it to where it’s not gonna happen again.

run whatever you want.

AN hose/fittings will end this problem but it'll cost you...

At this point anything is better than my ranger being down! That’s my “go to” truck. I can ALWAYS rely on her!
