trans and tcase combo

so i bought this 1993 ranger 2 years ago my first 4wd it needed a trans so i got one out of the junk yard, it has 3.0 with a Mazda M50D-R1 trans with a 1354e case. so my question is what Manuel t case can i run cause the e was great till i tried the rocks and now it wining and i want it gone

Dude, next time use the Search button, because we get this question A LOT.

Find another BW1354 manual. It is a direct bolt up. Good luck find one, as they're getting harder and harder to find. Both transfer cases are exactly the same, one is just a manual engagement.

If you are having trouble with your electric case, try removing the electric motor, cleaning it, and rebuilding it. If it's whining, from metal-metal grinding contact, then yea, get a new case. I'll sell you my electric unit if you want it.

The manual cases can be found in early 90's Explorer, Rangers, and Bronco II's.
