tranny swap?

Hey all,

Im just looking for some info on swaping my auto trans and transfer case out of mine 09 b4000 to a 5spd manual and manual t-case. i checked the tech articles and nothing there for the newer stuff i figure ill prob need a donnar truck like a 04 to 09 ranger or another b4000 so ya was just wondering if anybody has done a swap on a newer truck and or if anybody knew of problems or parts ill need from a donar truck.

The mechanical part of it is most likely the same as the earlier models. Just a get a manual (with everything) from a similarly equipped Ranger/B4000 of the same generation.

The electrical part could be interesting. Just guessing, but I'd say you'd have to swap the ECU and GEM (if your year even has one) to make it work right.

if anybody has done a swap on a newer truck...
