tranny swap

Hi all happy thanksgiving i just had a 93 extended cab giving to me it needs a tranny (auto) i was wondering what all years and models have a transmission that would fit please and thank you

2wd or 4x4? the transmissions are not the same.

If a 4x4 you'll need the transmission and the transmission wiring harness

On a 2wd truck you'll also need a drive shaft because the output
spline is different.

What years? I would look for a 1994-97, there are slight differences
on the later transmissions that wouldn't cause a problem on a
manual-to-manual swap, but are nasty problems for an
auto-to-manual swap.

you will not need to cut a hole in the floor, under the carpet is a
removeable plate that you just swap out with the plate from a
1988-97 donor vehicle

while just the pedals can be swapped I've always found it easier
to pull the steering column then remove the pedal & Bbacket setup as an assembly.

It is a 4x4 and i want to do a auto to auto swap id love the auto to manual but its about to snow here where i live and my current dd is a 91 extended cab 2wd and the manual swap us outa the question right now
