I have a 94 4WD, it had a auto in it and I swapped to a manual. I have everything done except the wiring. I was told I had to replace some of the wiring harness but I don't know how mudch of it has to be swapped. Right now I try to start the truck and nothing happens. So I know it must be some kind of switch or something that is not allowing the truck to start. Any help would be great. Thanks

The best thing for you to do is to get the transmission wiring harness of another truck like yours with a manual. It unplugs at the top of the bell housing on the back side of the engine.

If you don't do that, you will have to do some wiring rework for it to start and the 4wd engage.

Hey

Hey we have talked before, i have anothert harness but it is from a 91 ranger 4WD. How hard would it be to do some re wiring and also where could i find a decent wiring harness other then the one in the haynes manual?

it probably doesn't wana start because of the neutral saftey switch.
