hey I am kinda new at this, well here is my problem, I have a 1999 ford ranger, and I was having transmission issues with, so I pulled out and had it rebuilt, so now my question is after I put in a new torque converter in it and new fluid in it I am not not getting any movement from the rear wheels, but I was told that I may have not seated in the converter in properly, then I was told I may have damaged the front pump, any ideas......

thanks:icon_thumby:

If the torque converter wasn't seated properly and you torqued down the bellhousing-to-engine bolts, you may have damaged the front pump.

I don't know how to fix it or how much it would be to have a shop do it.

Good luck all the same.

the odd thing was i didn't slam the tranny in i was told it may have not damaged anything, but I wont know until i pull the tranny back out of the truck, its hard to say.
