I'm thinking about buying a complete set of tires and wheels ,for winter use.
My ? is is it necessary to fit them with a TPMS system ?
My stock tires have them . If I go without the TPMS ,will the light staying on be the only
issue that I will have ?

Yes, just the light.
Tire pressure monitor system is just a warning system, doesn't effect anything else.

They can be transferred to the new wheels, just new bands are needed.
