That's probably best anyway. Knock it all out at once. Gives ya time to get up the guts to cut on her too.
By the way I really like what you've done to her already. I need to find a good 302 candidate and just do it. Been seriously considering having one built for me. There's lots of shops around here that use to build dirt track cars. No more track so hopefully they've got left over engines and need the work.

Good luck in your quest, I got my engine used. Not new but it runs good for now.

So I've torn apart the interior in the BII and getting ready to prime the bad spots before Fatmat goes in. Weather willing lol. Lots of rain here lately. Then new carpet, headliner and refurbished XLT interior trim.
Does anyone know if there should be plugs in this part of the flooring?

Inside the first hole is another under the floor. Lots of dirt and road grime in there.

My Ranger has rubber plugs like that for where the cab mounts are. Not sure if BII's do too or not.

I don't have any specific pics of them, you can see one by happens chance in the bottom of these pics.

There's metal ones for under the carpet on the first hole . That's where the body mount bolts are. Didn't see any for the one under it. Might have to find something for it after I clean under the panel.

Well the weather held up long enough to prime and paint the needed areas . Also got some Fatmat down. My arms and neck held up long enough to get this much done lol.

I'm about to be buying uv protective clear coat and some 600 and 2000 sandpaper to refinish my lights, and going to touch up on paint. Hardest part will be matching my blue paint. Got too many chips to let slide. And some rust on the back bumper.

Another side project is to try and fix my hood being angled to one side. Makes me mad seeing gap on only one side.

Hey, does anyone know how to re-mend a bumper together? Mine is cracking.
And plastic metal didn't do anything.

Takes a lot of time lol. Going is slow with the weather, but it's getting there. Thanks and good luck with your wobble.

Well today me and my son changed out the hardware on the BII body lift. Ordered the bolts and assorted hardware from Duff, 120 bucks shipped. But I could only use some of the hardware, apparently the bolts weren't long enough to go through the poly bushings and body, kinda sucky. But now I know I need new suspension parts because she's an inch higher on the driver side now lol. I guess new leafs, front springs and shocks are next lol. It never ends.

For the cracked bumper there are plastic welding kits its basically a hot glue gun with plastic rod you could try that then like sand it out some my buddy broke a push broom and used one to fix it it held for awhile till he ran it over again lol

Spent the morning getting the carpet lined up and ready for trimming. Used a handheld steamer to help form it. Now I just gotta start finding all the bolt holes and cut and start them. Lots of fun lol.
