Everyone stopped marketing small utilitarian trucks to the United States because they just don't sell.

America's most bought vehicles are F series pickups and the silverados... we like our full size behemoth's.

We do, but still there is a niche, not just in the world market, but also here at home.

BiL had one of those - drove it for couple weeks - was a little under powered even by the standards of the day.

Toyota can't being their $10k truck to 'merica - too many safety restrictions - skid control, backup camera, etc, etc. Not to mention, the chicken tax would add 25%.

Are they going to be available in the US ?

It's not for everyone. I still prefer the Ranger.

Something sized like a 1st gen, shaped like a 1st gen, optioned like the mentioned toyota with 2 solid axles and a simple, 302ish sized OHV V8 with a manual, sold for 20k would be perfect
