Has anyone done the Toyota front clip swap and if so is there a write up on it anywhere I am having a hard time finding one

It's been done, but I doubt that you will find much about it here. This is a great forum, just most people here don't go that route with their trucks. If there is any info on this forum the best place to look for it or ask for help would be in the "Mini-Truck Suspension" section.
I know that several trucks over on Ranger Power Sports had the swap done and you'd be able to find a lot of info it it were still accessable. Unfortunately it's been down for over 6 months and who knows when it'll get back up. They have got a facebook page, if you ask there someone in the know might be able to help you out.

I've got a '83 with a Toyota clip. Don't think I would do it again. I would go the mustang 2 route.
