toyota 3.0L v6 into 89 ranger?

anyone ever try swapping a complete toyota eng/trans/transfer into a 89 ranger? just a thought as i have a complete 4runner sitting around, i am a toyota tech, so wiring wouldnt be an issue, just wondering about it physically fitting in there

Start taking measurements and compare them to your truck. I would love to see it done. The 5VZ and 5VZ-FE engines are fantastic! I'm sad that I had to get rid of my tacoma though. Loved the little 3.4L it had.

i wish it was a 3.4, but just going with whats available to me, ill keep everyone updated on the project, will be slow moving unfortunatly lol
