I plan on towing my ranger 5 sp. with a towdolly soon.since it is rear wheel drive, should I tow it with the rear wheels on the tow dolly and the vehicle facing the rear?

You could, but your relying on your steering wheel lock to keep you straight, I'd say drive it on and pull the rear drive shaft, and make sure to plug your Tranny or you'll lose fluid.

That's a good place for bailing wire. Pop the driveshaft loose at the diff and strap it to the frame.
