Amen on the triple ball/hook. I just like to collect all the junk like Danica collects coffee cups, no sense to it. I got one of the triple balls when Harbor Freight had them in sale, but it’s too pretty to use!

I have a couple of them, 1 I use all the time, the other one I picked up as a spare to carry in another vehicle if I need it and had a 20% off coupon so I grabbed the last one they had LOL. They work great, and its nice having all 3 ball sizes right there and not have to carry around different hitches all the time. I wouldn't use it to tow a travel trailer or cargo trailer but lighter weight trailers I think they do fine, they're only rated for 5,000lbs if I recall.

It’s funny, one of my first was a 2 ball that I welded onto a heavy 2” tube. I’ve done several over the years. The tube was maybe 7-8ft long when I got it 40 years ago, and there’s enough left for 2, maBye 3 more. Most of my stuff is store bought or JY PICKED, but that ancient home made double ball still gets the most work out. A lot of what I build is weird, for fun. I built about a 30”x 55” trailer for a fiat X 1/9 that Had a similar shape, even x 1/9 wheels. Was really a big boom box with a 2-case beer cooler. Blast! Like a lot of my creations, I got it done, and then a buddy had to have it!
