tow hooks?

as you only have 149 posts, 0 rep power, and are listed as "member", you are officially a "Level 1 Ranger Novice" on this site.

jk. couldn't resist.

usually the decals on the rear part of the bed tells everyone if you're driving something special. otherwise it should say in the owners manual, original window sticker and the vin which you can decode in the tech library here.
as for the frame though, they are all the same no matter which level of ranger you drive. they didn't make them any stronger for FX4 level II 4.0 v6 than for the base model with the 4 cyl. motor. same dimensions, same psi strength steel, etc.

depends on what tow hooks you're using and which ever way is easier for you. both ford and chevy use some nice bolt on tow loops that would look good on your truck. just use grade 8 bolts/nuts/washers if you bolt it on. if you don't weld, take it to someone who knows what they're doing and get them welded on.

ya so do i but im also looking for length and i think the ones i found will work better. SO bolt or weld them on?

Its good to see you're getting hooks, instead of those stupid closed loops. You can't use tow straps with loops only with the closed loop hooks.

Good choice.
