got my new leafs on and there the four pack or stiffer ones because mine were cracked so the rear is 2 inches higher so i went to crank the torsion bars and one screw was in more than the other so i cranked them even off there posotion they were at got two turns off of the one then did the same on the other side and it only brought it up about half an inch whats wrong why wont it lift thanks for the help:dunno:

First, did you measure both sides to see what they sat at? The drivers side is up more than the passenger side from the factory. You only got two turns off the drivers side? Was it maxed after that? You can always go with longer bolts.

oh so thats why one bolt was in more then the other than, ya the drivers side has a half a turn left and the passenger side has almost half the bolt left to adjust the stock was at 5 1/2 and know its at 6 1/8 sitting level so were should i go from here with it thanks alot

I'd probably go with longer bolts. Do you mean it's 6 1/8th from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender? Or what? I measured from the ground to the bottom of the flare when I cranked mine to get it level.

That is normal. Do what you have to to make the truck level from side to side and don't worry about the bolts looking the same. It is what it is.

so can i just take out the stock bolt without messing anything up and replace it with a longer one or will it unload the torsion bar

IIRC, it will rest on a rectangular block when you pull the bolt out so it won't unload completely.
