Hello! I have a question about my torsion bars. I have been ****ing with them lately (Mistake), and I have decided on putting them back to stock, but I don't know where they are suposed to be stock. It is lower than stock right now and I don't know how to tell when I have it back to normal. Will it hurt them to be lower than stock. I just don't want the torsion bar bolts to come out either. Thanks.

When i cranked t bars on newer rangers, they had about 3 inches of downtravel in it, after a 1 1/2 inch crank, there was 1 1/2 inches of down travel. So measuer and then jack up the truck to find out how much u are over stock, then adjust it.
I would measuere the fender to hub but i only have my 89 ranger at the house now:beer:

Don't know if it will hurt them to be lower but you will have less wheel travel and that could cause the suspension to bottom out if you hit something hard. I just measured the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender on my 05 and its roughly 20 inches. Hope that helps.
