i know a lot of people crank the torsion bars i was wondering if someone could tell me how to

Plenty of threads if you search, but it's easy enough.

Jack up the front of the truck so the front wheels are off the ground. (use jack stands). Follow your torsion bars back, they are big thick steel rods that go from the front wheels, to below the cab. There will be a 5/8"(i think, been awhile) bolt on each side (d/s & p/s). May need some wd-40, pb blaster, etc to help out, but turn those bolts clockwise equal amounts. As in 3 rounds on the drivers, and three on the passenger. (all trucks vary, but usually the drivers side bottoms out before the passenger, so keep both equal, or you'll end up crooked)

wouldnt this make your alignment go to shits

Yes, you will need to have camber/caster eccentrics installed in your upper control arms and have an alignment done afterwards.

I thought all you needed was an alignment afterwords, never heard anything about anything else needed?

In stock form they come with preset shims in the upper control arm mounting bolts that are not adjustable. In order to set camber and caster properly you will need to have them switched out for some camber/caster eccentrics.

It also depends on how much you crank'em. I raised my front about an inch over stock. Purchased the eccentrics in case I needed them. All I they had to do was set toe and it was good. Caster/Camber were still within spec on mine.

Well, I was thinking of going 1.5 inches or so with the crank, Should I order them for that much of crank? and if so, what is the exact name of the part I need?

Caster/camber eccentrics for the upper control arm. Any alignment shop or ford dealership should know what you're talking about. I know we always stock them at the dealership i'm working at.

Ok. Will i have to go to a dealership to get them or will the alignment shop have some hookups? which would be cheaper
