so ive been reading and looking at pictures and reading others posts and what not trying to understand torsion bars and keys. so this is what ive come up with. i see that some people have saggin bars thus lowering the ride height and they replace them to gain back the lost height. am i right so far? if so if one were to take a heavier duty torsion bar itself and put it on a ranger say a explorer w/v8 or a f150 will that in theory raise the height of the ranger? im trying to understand this

The heavier the bar, the more resistance there is to twisting forces thus giving a stiffer ride and can give you more "lift" so to speak. The stiffest bar for a ranger would be the #1 torsion bar. F150 bars won't work. They are different dimensions all together.
