Torsion Bar Crank

so today i am trying to crank my torsion bars but i turn the adjuster and it doesn't make any difference which way am i supposed to turn the bolt tighten or loosen? i have tried both but don't noticed any difference

:icon_confused:Crank it just like any other RH thread bolt...righty tighty. Are you sure you're on the adjuster bolts? Did you remove the adjustment bolt protectors?
 
Yup tighten, not loosen and don't expect instant huge gains-it will take at least3-4 complete turns of the bolt to start seeing the change.
 
i figured it out when i was reading in the tech library it said that you should see the tire move and i didn't so i didn't think it was doing anything but then i measured and now i notice the difference. it also doesnt help that my driveway is at a little bit of an angle
 
You have the weight off the front tires? Makes it alot easier to turn the bolts.
