Torsion Bar adjusters doing nothing

It's a 4wd 2000 ranger with a 3 liter, and when I stand in front of it, I get this gut-shot feeling because the passenger side front tire is leaning in at the top way more than the driver's side. Inside tread is bald over there, too. I jacked it up and discovered a LOT of slack in the ball joints, so I replaced upper and lower on that side with no change to the lean. I'm thinkin, 'what else is there?? All I see is torsion bars might be saggin', so in lookin'; under there, the adjuster has about 3/4" of threaded length to go, so I jacked her up again and ran the durned thang all the way in to just short of the head, still no apparent change My question - WTF?? How does that much adjuster movement make no change? How does camber drift so far out of whack withing 3 - 4 months?

It sounds like you need to get it to an alignment shop for a complete check.

Also cranking the torsion bar makes the top of the tire lean in more as well.
