Saw an ad for Torque Thrust wheels today....15x8 rears and 15x4.5 fronts....what's the classes opinions of the 4.5 fronts on my '88 4x2....

4.5s are pretty skinny. Those are more for a drag car or street rod.

Check your tire options for the 4.5 wide wheels. There are very few all season options for a wheel that thin. Most tires are drag or extreme sport designs. Not very road friendly in less than ideal conditions if you plan to drive the truck year round.

Steering will drop drastically also. Hydroplaning those front tires or just locking them up if you take a corner to fast will happen easily.

A wheel that thin is made mainly to fit a thin tire to help reduce rolling resistance on drag vehicles.
