DO I have to fill my TC with fluid I forgot to? its all bolted up btw.

no it will fill itself the first time the truck is run. i'm pretty sure these things take 7 quarts of ATF when fully empty.

OK I am attempting to install the 4 nuts onto the tc studs, but I cant get they flywheel to turn. Any tips

i've done 4 rebuilds of these A4LDs in shop class at school so yep. lol. what i do is get about a 3 foot prybar and stick it up thru the hole where the starter goes, and kindof pry against the teeth. its hard to explain, but really easy to show you if i had access to one at the moment...i think you'll figure it out once you get a look at it.

If you can't turn the engine either with a screwdriver through the starter hole, or by turning the crank bolt, then you will have to drop the trans and double check the TC is completely engaged into the trans...To check, grab hold of the TC stud, you should be able to move it back and forth a small amount (maybe an 1/8 or 1/16 inch), if it moves, then your fine, but if it doesn't, then its not fully engaged and can cause damage without dropping the trans

should the transmission be in neutral? Also, if the t.q. was not installed correctly would the engine still bolt to the tranny?

Yes the engine and trans will still bolt up, but it will bend the flexplate and you will have to replace it...
