I had a shift kit installed in my truck about a month ago and when i picked the truck up at the garage and attempted to drive it home it wouldnt shift unless you floored it and stalled when coming to a stop. I took it back and the mechanic said the shift kit was faulty so he ordered me in a new one which he claims to be a better one. and he replaced all the solenoids. well anyways it shifts like its suppose to now but still stalls at stop signs. the mechanic told me it was due to the shift kit boosting the line pressure and unless i get a new converter (which i dont have money for at the moment) i would have to put it in nuetral and stop signs and redlights because the converter isnt unlocking due to the high pressure. I was wondering if i just unplug the tcc plug if it would solve this problem.
