why were the axles welded to the frame?

To make the chassis easilly rollable.

Nope, decided Id be better off with a full blown tube chassis.

I got 175 for the cab, frame and some other odds and ends that I scrapped.

Im currently looking at 4 seater tube chassis's. something similar to the below pic. I modified a 2 seater chassis in paint to be longer and Im working with the builder to see if he can come up with something similar.

Im also considering a Mantis chassis from American Rock Rods.

I kept the front fenders, hood and a set of doors. I havent decided what Im going to do yet. It really depends on the chassis.
