Toreadorranger Build...2 years in the making

So what was to orginal plans for this truck anyways and why such the huge turns in all of it? May as well just build a monster truck and be done.

Good plan on the rocks, on my new rig if I start breaking stuff on the tons I am just going strait to rocks

I had a RCD IFS lift on the truck and I kept breaking the front end, so I decided to do a d44 sas and DD the truck. Then I went to college and didnt need a DD, then I bought a new truck and this became offroad only, so I bought a d60/d70 combo.

I couldnt afford to build the D60/D70 combo so I sold them and continued with the d44/9". Then I decided not to continue to use the d44/9" again and sold them and bought the d60/d70 I current have.

I had a 39" TSL that I was going to buy 3 more of and run with these axles, but I found a sweet deal on the 47" LTB's. And now Im at the point where Im selling the D60/D70 and picking up a set of rockwells.

I have problems. :thefinger:

you forgot the engine... lol didnt it have a 3.0 then you went 302 then this new one?

Well that sums up 4 years of "building".:thefinger:

you picking up dueces or 5ton rocks? I've got military manuals for both and a few contacts for hard to find parts.

2.5 tons. 5 tons are larger then I need, will just buy some ouverson shafts if I need more strength.

He's a fawkin NUTCASE! Jaaayzzuuusss Christ man! I swear to god, I havn't logged on this site in literally like a year, and when I do, I find yur thread and just as I expected, not a god damn inch of movement of forward momentum progress....

:thefinger:

Which is great cuz' yur Right on track with me still...:headbang:

Keep it up man. I don't want to be the only one with a half a decade long build thread. I realized that I barely recognize anyone on here anymore. All the guys from way back when, before I had to re-set up my account back in 2007, I don't even know if they are on here anymore. You, dirtraider, bobbywalters, stegoman, rusty ol ranger, 4x4junkie, Will, Ericthered, AllanD, are pretty much all I remember from "the regulars" 5 or 6 years ago. I'm sure more will come to me, but I can't remember right now.

Found a set. Complete with frame and 351W/C6. Anyone want to buy a 351/C6 combo? Guy delivered them today. along with new knuckle boots and BTF mohawk covers for them.
