Tore Out the Driveshaft

damn on my way home from my buddy's house early this morning, bout 1:00 am, shifted into 2nd gear and i just heard and felt the rear u-joint snap. i immediately knew what it was and started crapping bricks out, on the way coasting down a hill to a point that it wouldn't roll, the shaft slipped out of the transmission and leaked all of my fluid out.

i'm screwed lol found a good one, u-joints and everything for $245 so i guess that's what i'm doing lol i'm pissed.

ouch, shafts are only like $50 in the junk yard by me...

that's why I generally carry a 12mm 12pt wrench with me, and the advantage of having 4 wheel drive, pull the broken shaft, lock in the hubs and drive down the road.
