Well mine only has 31's and 3.45's, but about 80 while going down hill with a back wind.

I got a 2.9 up to about 125 once.

stock rubber though. :/

edit: *NOT* the bronco in my info page.

fastest ive went was maybe 90 but that was with stock 205's and Ive never went above 65 again. (never go on highways)

my 98 4 wheel 4.0 automatic is about 130 max but thats with all the things i did to it..... it has 31's on it :3gears:

I had my speedo bauried maybe twice in the time I had it so prolly a 100 mph. I had 32s and 3 inch lift, not sure of the gear what ever a stock 2.3 4x4 came with. I needed a down hill and no wind but I had it up over 95 at least twice it was very hard to keep over 75 thou.

My Choptop (2.9L, 5-speed, 4.10 gears, 33" bias ply, 5" suspension lift, 2" body lift, locked front and rear) has been on the highway a couple times. Once it gets over 60 mph the doors start flapping.

Mine was about 65 before it sounded like it was going to blow up. 70 down a hill. 32" tires 3.73 gears.

31" tires, 4.10 gears, I could get it up to 100km/hr on the freeway, with a blown clutch... I never pushed it beyond cruising speed on the freeway, with the blowing clutch and all...
I've put my new truck (2.9 b2) with stock tires up to 140km/hr without trouble, with an automatic and 3.73 gears.

35" Muds, 4.88's, 4.0/A4LD and about 7" of lift.
It will bury the speedo on a flat freeway. :icon_surprised: But obviously not a regularly practiced thing!

BTW... It would do the same with the old 2.9 too.

I've had my boner stock truck with 215s up to about 95. The steering wheel was moving back and forth faster than Superman when he is really getting into it though.
