too......hot...

i'll be camping on the shore of the pacific ocean,on the west side of the island.always have a cool ocean breeze there, plus i'll be in my camper-i gave up on tents a long time ago....paid my dues over the years.hauling the boat down there too,so i can sit out on the water and catch dinner.still lots of salmon and halibut around.mmmmmmm.can't wait.i don't care if it's 40* or if it snows,i'm going to enjoy it.:icon_thumby:

If i didn't have to work next week, I'd be on the next flight out to join you!

i've been working 7 day a week for months now-i need this one.it's funny, when i was in the vancouver area i used to go camping all the time, now that i'm in this outdoorsman's paridise,i hardly ever get out.rennel sound, the place i'm going next weekend,i haven't been to in 4 years.....and that was just a day trip.

dont mean to one up you dude, but it's been 40c (104F) here most of the week.

It's dusk right now and it's still 34.

30 is my idea of almost perfect.

No kidding neighbor. My house A/C can't keep up. At least the Ranger's A/C works awasome, even in this heat.

I heard rain in the forecast, but you know how that goes. :dunno:

We call that t-shirt weather in New England!!! Wimp.

On the flip side of that coin, I know I'd be dying with your summer humidity!
Oh I almost died last winter when it was about 30 during the day with the sun out. I could've sworn I was going to freeze to death with the wind chill.

Wimp. Of course, it'd fun as hell watching you drive in the snow! And seeing you try to ski, that's if you could figure out which side of the ski to put your boot on, would be quite entertaning as well.

In the winter, 30 is a touch warm. A nice winter day perfect for skiing is about 25 with a calm wind or slight breeze.

Say, I've got and idea: Winter New England meet & greet at Loon or Pat's Peak?

I remember when I was little it got in the negative range on a daily basis. Now it's barely below 32 all winter. Global warming anyone?

seriously,i don't know how you guys do it....i have a hard time working when it's too hot.i can bundle up against the cold, not too much i can do about heat.i don't have a/c in the shed...

+1, you can always add another layer but you cant ever take off your skin bro...well you can, but only once

The hotter the better!!!! Some like it hot!!!!! I loved Afganistan!!! Hmmmmm......those dry heat waves and some really hot air dragging acrross your face at 05:00!!! Hmmmmmmmmm....that sand blasting your face all day. Here in humid Florida we have been having those 'feels like 112 temps!!!! I can take it. You got to drink lots of water. If not....you die!!!!!!!

Yea still 90's here in knoxville area... glad i live on the lake, when I go out to mow halfway through I stop and just run into the water clothes on and all. I try to do it when a boat is passing by waving my arms like im fighting bees to see what their reation is.

Give me dry heat anyday!!! I'd rather it be 110 and me in texas than 98 degrees here in western Ky!!!!!!!!!! We've been doing round and square bales of hay, working cattle, and sweeping out a grain bin this past week, it's been miserable!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frank

Uh, Frank, you ever been to Houston in the summer? 100 degrees and 90%+ humidity. I'm with you on the dry though. West TX is way better.

Driving in the snow is the best! Nothing beats a few inches of snow, an empty bed and RWD! :3gears:

As long as its in january i'd be down for that.

Its been an amazing summer weather-wise. The humiditys a killer but its been 80s-90s and sunny like all summer. sure beats last years cool and wet summer

Oh I can tell you right now i'd bust my ass the first time I tried skiing but I would love to see you drive on the interstate doing 75 in a south Florida storm. You'd be like every other up state driver, a 25mph road hazard.
