too......hot...

well, i don't know how to figure out what my local temp. is in celcius, and i'm too drunk to really try, but it's been a solid 97*-100* everyday here in hudson, fl, for the past two weeks. thank god i manage a restaurant in work in somwhat A/C all day, although the A/C is broken...

C = (F-32) x (5/9)
F = C x (9/5) + 32

20c = 68F
25c = 77F
30c = 86F
35c = 95F
40c = 104F

It was 97 today and I was pouring concrete. Actually didn't feel too bad at all, humidity was only 19%..

It's the humidity that makes all the difference, I could never live in Florida.

Its been hotter than grannys drawers here to...........sucks cutting and welding up pipe for exhaust in this crap.

seriously,i don't know how you guys do it....

Years of working in these crappy conditions and a big fan. Where the fan lets off my years of working in the dishroom in high school lets me just suck it up and go to town.

I'd kill for some 30C weather down here, thats freakin perfect.

looks like it'll be another hot one today....i could stop whining,but wheres the fun in that?and littlehorse,thanks for the conversion chart-that's great.

no problem!

i think we're finally gonna get some relief for the next few days, it's noon and its only 88, most of last week we were already close to 100 by this time. Might actually be able to get some work done.

it is between 100- 105 here daily with 95% humidity, your sweat does nothing, been here most of my life, hate cold
Second that. When you have to wear a sweatshirt and a long sleeve shirt in 60 degree weather you know your a true Floridian :icon_thumby: And I'm just that haha.

seriously,i don't know how you guys do it....i have a hard time working when it's too hot.i can bundle up against the cold,not too much i can do about heat.i don't have a/c in the shed...

same here man,, 30 is hot for us to, a couple nights ago it went down to 12 one night, that was a bit chilly but around 15 is perfect for me, i like the cold and in the heat (30 degree+) i cant work, cant sleep, cant do anything lol but im like you, always goin out in boat when its warm

We call that t-shirt weather in New England!!! Wimp.

On the flip side of that coin, I know I'd be dying with your summer humidity!

103 here today. If I try to do anything on the truck, there's so much sweat pouring on my glasses I can't see. Gwaii - If you go camping in that heat, you are the man. I swore it off. Lying inside a tent to keep the bugs off, no wind, sweating my a$$ off. No fun.

i'll be camping on the shore of the pacific ocean,on the west side of the island.always have a cool ocean breeze there,plus i'll be in my camper-i gave up on tents a long time ago....paid my dues over the years.hauling the boat down there too,so i can sit out on the water and catch dinner.still lots of salmon and halibut around.mmmmmmm.can't wait.i don't care if it's 40* or if it snows,i'm going to enjoy it.:icon_thumby:

My ideal camping trip is to go to some place in South TX when bird season starts. Take the dogs and hunt all day, come back to the pop-up, cook the birds and pet on the dogs until the beer runs out. In Nov, or Dec though.
