I want to give a big thank you to all of you in the armed forces and are vets of the armed forces. No one deserves more respect and honor than the men/women who put their life on the line every day for our freedom and safety.

Lots of people take this for granted, but I try to thank a vet whenever I see one. My late grandfather served during the Korean War, and I never thanked him for it, because I never knew.

So to all of the soldiers out there:

Yes to ALL VETS, I thank you. Also at my church this morning they played a memorial day video and all ya'll soldiers got about a 5 min standing ovation. I/ we all thank you!

I remember the kids who came home in a box from Viet Nam when I was in junior high and high school,and a uncle I never got to fish with who was killed on the uss Smith in the Coral Sea.

A couple of in the neighbor hood took our cars to the car show last week-end at the big veterains home last week-end, no entry fee, no awards, just done so they could all come out and enjoy. Seems like most think of the old ones, but there were a lot of young ones and women being pushed around in their wheel chairs, just to admire, and remember. Must have been 30-45 restored model A from some club that all showed up. Lots of muscle cars. The Wisconsin chapter of the H.O.G. does wonders in supporting the Vet's, think they showed up with 200 bikes. Wish I had thought about it at the time to go up and hug each and everyone of those vets for what they did for us and have gone thru. God bless them that gave it all!
