Tom Morana Heads

So I've blew my head gaskets!!! I'm blowing coolant and losing cars behind me. I even had one blow there horn at me. So I'm thinking if I have to pull the heads, I'm going to get a pair of Tom Morana stage 3 heads... Has any body dealt with this company? Are they good heads. Thanks for any input

Thats alot of money! if i were you i would save it for gas and stuff. I bet they are good and probably help but it works alot better with the whole sheebang intake and stuff.

yeah your right but I plan on doing more as I get more $$$. Tax checks are great for doing things in steps. I have ceramic coated headers that I'll be putting on at the same time I do the head swap.

They aren't going to do much without a different cam. You have to take the heads and lifters out to swap cams (preferably take the whole block out, which really isn't a big deal once the heads are off). So now would be the time for that as well.

Keep in mind that while you will be able to gain some serious HP with those heads, a good cam, and headers, it will be at a higher RPM and your sub-2000 RPM torque is going to suffer at least a little bit even if you match things perfectly. Get things a little off and the loss in low end will be even more noticable.

May I add that if you are going to be swapping cams you might want to replace the lifters and push rods with new ones.
