Todays weather

12:40

And just like that, it fizzled down, and passed by us to the north. Still a little lightning and thunder, but just a heavy rain storm.
Is there maybe more on the way?

It's about 2:00am here and the thunder is really just starting to sound close. It's been rumbling in the distance for a while, but just starting to sound like it's getting to this area. I'm going to shut down this machine and hit the sack before it hits in earnest.

A lot of little stuff I had sitting around the work area in the driveway are now evenly distributed across my backyard.

I was watching the TV, the weather channel, and my phone app. It really was pretty amazing how quickly it lightened up and went in a little different direction.

Before, during, and after there was some pretty amazing high up and far away Lightning, a real show. There was a real boiling turmoil of dark clouds intermixed with just cloudy conditions, mixing it up more than I’ve ever seen. You also knew the lightning was far away because it took so long for the thunder to come after it. It really was quite a show. People about 70 or 100 miles north of me , or Northwest of me, apparently got hit pretty hard.

Don’t mess with Mother Nature!

Looks like it's headed this way....Batten down the hatches.

it was 80 degrees on Friday in central Indiana... today 36 degrees... what the hell...

I know how you feel. 77 here yesterday. Today the high is 46.

Weren’t we just talking about snow and ice and freezing temperatures a couple days ago? About people buried in the blizzard?

Well, here in Georgia we’re starting the yellow blizzard season. And I don’t mean as in don’t eat the yellow snow.

both were washed in the last 24 hours, and the pollen hasn’t even gotten bad yet.

But it’s easy to find who may have messed with the Lincoln.

But there are positives. Nice setting for the Missing Linc.

I have to put a new flag up too.

It was 20 degrees this morning. Tomorrow morning is suppose to be in the 40s. The typical spring for this region.

Rain and more rain. Yuck. Which means a crappy aummer of mosquitos the size of nickels and quarters

Thats why i pray for no rain all year long. I would rather be in a drought than have mosquitos

big nasty front went through last night.
once again Lake Erie protected us as the worst lessened as it neared Toledo.
lots of rain, mediocre lightening, not much wind despite the storms moving overhead at 90 mph.

all areas west/northwest of here are flooding.
some train cars blown over about 40 miles south of me near Fostoria Ohio.

big nasty front went through last night....

We got the Norhern part of that long stretch of storms. It traveled over us for the entire stream of storms from the Southwest to the Northeast. Intermittent heavy rains, some sleet and a pretty good light show. It finally let up this morning at about 4:00.

And now it's 61 degrees and sunny but very windy.

Welcome to April.:p

A tornado briefly touched down in Carmel Indiana, about 2-1/2 miles north of me. It wrecked a storefront but no injuries.

I was on the porch facing that area, I’ve never seen such relentless vertical small drop size rain. Not much wind until the tornado came with a furious continual loud whine, like a huge
Aircraft engine.

we have a high today of 87 but the real feel is 96.

it felt like 96 two days ago. i had to walk all over the trying to get some stuff done at work, probably a mile of walking total. you could feel the humidity and heat the whole time

It was 44 this morning and 73 this afternoon with just enough wind to get a kite up about 70 feet and have it come crashing down into the brush. There should be a little more wind tomorrow, so I'll try again.
