Todays weather

Keep that garbage up there!
I'll do what I can. We are twice as warm as this time last year, when we had a six-day long spell with an average temperature of -40°!

Winter's still hanging on here in South western P.A......

Middle Ga it's in the low 50s and dreary. Sounds warm compared to snowmageddon a couple of weeks ago, but it was almost into the 80s here over the weekend. After that, this feels cold.

Ditto, I was just about to say that for Atlanta. 50° and a constant light rain, for us that’s bone chilling. I think I’m being punished for saying it was 70 the other day.

in Toledo less than 2" of snow on the ground. the coming storm is expected to dump only another 2"
temps seasonal around 30 today, was nice & sunny.

It was 28 this morning and 51 this afternoon. It's expected to go down to 32 tomorrow morning and 56 in the afternoon, then heavy rain.

getting freezing rain & drizzle now.
radar shows the snow line is on top of us but that's up in the clouds.
I'm staying inside tonight.

30 this morning, 54 this afternoon. Not terribly cold at all, but it was one of those days when the combination of wind, humidity, solar declination and the resulting elevation plus the reduction in insolation from the cloud cover and my forgetting to bring a jacket made 54 degrees feel like 24.

Where in the second day of a pretty steady rain which is supposed to end by lunch tomorrow. Ground is absolutely saturated, and we had a high in the low 40s. Miserable.

After that, it’s supposed to go into the 50s and be mostly sunny.

I still have the calcium rocksalt stuff in the kitty Litter pail behind a tree up by the steep part of the driveway. I know the second I bring it back to the garage, we will have a freezing rain or some snow again.

It's 27 with the wind howling and we got a couple inches of snow last night so I'll plow later because I hate walking in it. We got 10" on Sunday, that made 5 times I'd plowed in 10 days so it was nice to have a short break. I piled the snow up about 8' high beside of my driveway with my Kioti backhoe.

It's been around freezing and raining here yesterday and today. Thankfully, the roads haven't been bad but cold and wet are a bad combo and make it feel colder than it is. It has also been a bit windy today, adding a wind chill into the mix.

56 on the web, but my kitchen thing says it’s 59.6. We’ll see if it makes it to 60 today. And there’s this big bright thing in the sky. I haven’t seen in a while.

This time next week is supposed to be in the low 40s for highs, and the mid low 20s, and that’s after a couple days of rain. I left the salt pallets out by the tree, so this wouldn’t happen. I know if I put them away it would be a sure thing.

It was 46 at midnight. 54 at sunrise. Then reached 59 at 11:00 AM and has slowly cooled down to 54 at 9:00 PM. Total rainfall today was anywhere from 1" to 3" depending on what cloud passed overhead.

We had a couple inches of wet snow under a layer of sleet yesterday so I plowed again. It was 16 degrees at 7 but it's warmed up to 22, not bad for February. Now they're predicting 8-14" of snow starting tomorrow and continuing through Monday morning. If 8-14 is the biggest storm we get this winter I'll call it a win but I still won't like it.
