We had a couple inches of wet snow under a layer of sleet yesterday so I plowed again. It was 16 degrees at 7 but it's warmed up to 22, not bad for February. Now they're predicting 8-14" of snow starting tomorrow and continuing through Monday morning. If 8-14 is the biggest storm we get this winter I'll call it a win but I still won't like it.

The weather jerks are saying a bigger storm likely for Thursday.. well see though.

They told us to expect 6-8" yesterday and we got exactly 1 inch before it started to sleet lol..

I remember one storm last year.. 3 days out they were saying 4-8.. the next day they bumped it to 10-14.. and on the eve of the storm they were telling us to expect 20"+... and all we ended up with was an inch

Weather bastards make way too much money. All they do is make a guess roughly based on the hard work of what an A.I program tells them and they rake in 100k a year

The blizzard of 78 dropped 3 feet on us and we got most of the way home in my brother in law's 67 Fairlane 4 door. Once the snow packed under the floor boards and we couldn't go further, I slogged through the snow, got my 69 Bronco and plowed enough of the town road to get him home, then plowed our private road and driveway. In 2001 or 2 we got 33" and that sucked, too.
I'm still going to complain about 14".

We've been getting snow almost all day. But they forgot to freeze it and make it fluffy and pretty. So it just looks like regular old rain.

Rained most of yesterday and was still raining at 3 am, got out if bed around 8 to a good 3” of snow & still putting it down good. not supposed to be over 32 for the next week, windy later. Dont have my 8N ready to use yet but not too worried. If I cant make it to the end of the driveway chances are I aint getting down this secondary back road. Should be the last winter storm for the season.-should be-

It started snowing last night around 9pm and it's supposed to quit before dawn tomorrow after possibly turning to freezing rain or sleet for a while. NH's only TV staion is south of us and they say we'll get 8-14. The next closest staion is in Northern NY & Vt, they said we'll end up with 2-4"- we've got that much already. I'll plow whatever we get.

It's a mess here now, and it's all supposed to freeze solid overnight.
I'm not sure who to blame, the government, the almanac, the ground hog, or Mother Nature ??
There's gotta be an explanation for this.....
