status update. Still hot.

Was gonna take the dogs swimming in the creek, but wife said they were being shitbags while I was in the garage working so no swimming today.

And by some strange and abnormal state of affairs, we only have 25% humidity here. 93 degrees but "feels like" 90. Our humidity us normally much higher through the summer.

The 80 degree high we had yesterday felt glorious after two weeks of 90+ degree weather. We go back to mid 80s today but way better than what we have been having.

clouds show some serious shear/wind activity.
the storm was 15-20 minutes later, mostly just a good 'ol thunderstorm.

3 minutes later it's directly overhead.

we had a weird overhead cloud like pj had around 11:10 am then a good rain shower about 30 min later. was nice until after the rain then got really humid.

weatherman stated that was a shelf cloud resulting from an advancing cold mass at ground level
forcing warmer air up before it.
there is about 80 miles between me and Racsan, that cloud was moving!

97 today. It's going to get hot this week. 104 tomorrow, then up to 110 on Thursday with very warm low temperatures around 72.

cant wait to see saturday and sunday when the temps is 94. humidity should really be fun those days
