Todays weather

Woke up to I'll guess 6 inches of new snow. Temps right at 32 degrees.

I checked the 10 day forecast... it's about to get down in negative numbers for the next week or two. Yay!

High of 10* wind is blowing 25, drifting and whiteouts outside of our little farmstead. Everything is closed including the car dealership I work at which takes some doing.

still nothing in Toledo, 34.
we're right on the edge of the pattern, 20 miles north will get 4", 20 miles south will get mostly rain.

That c c c c c cold!

its 37 & raining right now. I must have arthritis the way my right hip has been. the back deck is slushy & will be a slippery mess later. I went to check on eggs and had to carry the dog out, she usually goes out with me willingly. Supposed to get colder & be in single digits during the night sun-wednesday. Hope the wind quits by then, its been gusting the last 2 days.

last night was 2 inches of wet slush. now it's frozen in place.
currently 28 degrees and windy. compared to other places I don't have much reason to complain.

still windy, light dusting of snow. ground & most doors frozen.

We got about 6 inches total. Yesterday's snow turned to rain most of the day. Then overnight it gave us another dusting and dropped to the teens... windy too.

The temperatures aren't so bad lately but the wind has been whipping pretty good the last few days. Temperatures have been floating in the 30s during the day and low 30s to high 20s at night. Pretty mild for this time of year for around here.

I just got an emergency alert on my phone to limit electrical use...
Apparently the electric grid is close to having rolling blackouts due to cold weather use of electricity.

Better disconnect your EV charger.
