To all of you undertaking in a 302 swap

If you have a big enough lever than it will break loose or at least break the head of the bold. My impact gun won't even loosen the dam lugs, so the breaker bar is what works for me. This method doesn't work so well when it's in a cramped space and I agree that drowning the bolt in pentreding fluid AS SEEN ON T.V. doesn't work. I'm sure if I had the tools they have on powerblock I could break a stuck bolt loose and make it look easy too.

i do all my work with a 69 dollar socket set from canadian tire
have a set of air tools that ive never used (except grinder)
if you cant do it by hand i dont wanna do it
peacefull under there
rusty broken stripped bolts are the best part
i have spent days trying to get bolts off (f250 bed for lift)
before i finally break out a grinder
kinda stupid but if you dont enjoy the good and the bad a motor swap aint for you

lol thanks for shoppin at can tire thats where i work!!! their tools are pretty impressive.

actually my dad buys this stuff called nut cracker from bumper to bumper, just started using it a while ago. Works really good. just put some one, put your impact on it, shake it till the stuff soaks in, heat it up good and vualla the spin right off. has yet to not work. sept on my e brake cable but it was bent and rusted so bad nothing could do that...

My great grandfather was a mechanic in the 50's and 60's... When he died he left us all his tools including this breaker bar that's about 4 feet long... I've used it to remove tons of bolts... Snapped the bolts on the exhaust manifold of my 2.9... A little oil and that thing and most everything comes out...
