what is needed beside trans and convertor for 44 to 55 swap im pressed for time and cant look thru pages of posts I know its been posted

The correct computer would probably be a good thing to have.
Well beside correct computer you would need to do a complete rebuild.
44e were only used for 2.3l and 3.0l engines
55e were only use on 4.0l engines
4R or 5R doesn't matter, same issue
The Bell housing's engine bolt holes won't line up, 2.3l and 3.0l don't match, and 4.0l doesn't match either of those.
On automatics the rear of bell housing is front case for the main pump(front pump).
To swap bell housings you need to do a complete tear down of the transmission, from the back forward.
As far as I know it can be done, but the question is really more of a why?
Rebuilding a 44e would be a better option than trying to convert to a 55e
