Hey gang, replacing a cracked head on the '85 Ranger. I put the timing mark on the crank at TC with the rotor pointing at the #1 cylinder. The inner timing cover is broken so I am missing the pointer for the cam but have it lined up with the auxiliary bolt so I think I am good there. When I pulled the crank pulley I noticed the woodruff key does not point to 12:00 like I thought it would. It's more like 11:00-11:30. Is this right?

Never mind. I put the crankl pulley back on and re-checked the timing. I guess I moved the crank a little when taking off the crank pulley.
Problem solved. Carry on.
