Tires?

I have a 2001 Ranger, I'm planning on getting a 4in suspension Lift put on it but was wondering if anybody had some suggestions on what kind of tires I should get and what size would be ideal, for some mild offroading.

Depends what kind of off-roading you want to do. Mostly dirt kinda stuff, any old all-terrain will do depending on how much you want to spend. If you're going mudding, then some A/T's are better than others. For example, BFG A/T's are highly regarded, work great in snow and wear like iron, but load up and suck balls in mud. I had Bridgestone REVO A/T's on my old Sport Trac and for an A/T they worked well in mud, also awesome in snow. Downside, they wore out kinda fast.

Yea it all depends on what you want to do with it my km2s are decent in everything and are quite on the road

for a 4" lift i would say either 33x12.5's if you do more off road than street or 33x10.5's if you do more street than off road. but i would do bfg a/t's great for almost everything.

33x12.50 should clear with no issues. I've always loved BFG A/Ts but don't do any hardcore off-roading. I agree with rangerguy1996, most people love their KM2s as well and claim the noise isn't much worse than A/Ts. I think I'll go with them if I can ever wear out my A/Ts. I have around 40,000 miles on them and they still have over 50% tread left. They seem to last forever.
