I have a 94 ranger 2wd 2.3L and was wondering if I put a 2" body lift on it could I run 31" tires and if so do I have to change my gear ratio and if so, to what and what does that price usual run

1st, depends on what gears you have in your axle. read teh door tag and look in the tech library here to find out what it is. or look on the axle and see if there is a tag there that will tell you.
2nd, depends on what kind of tire you want, street/at/mud/etc. and then, how much you have to spend, especially if you might have to regear.

lots of threads here with you same questions. have fun reading thru them, and welcome to trs.

get a 4wd and lift it, dont lift a two wheel drive

i when weeling with some one that had 31s and 4.10s with his 2wd 4 banger and he could do 70 just fine on the mass pike. if you do not have 4.10s i would have that as low gear or 4.56 as a high gear
