what would be a good tire to put on my 88 ranger if i had a 3in suspension and 3inch body lift i have a 3in suspension now and i want there to be some room in the wells so whats the max size i could get with a total of 6in of lift and still have room in the wells cuz i like the look of big tires with room in the wells

35s would need a little trimming to allow for flex, but otherwise they'll fit good.

(I run 35s, 5" lift, with trimmed fenders on my BII)

if i dont need to much flex seeing i dont do to much off roading and if i do it is just trails no heavy stuff can i just leave it alone

I guess... You'll probably still hit the fenders when you pull into some driveways though.

I'd stick with 33s if you don't want to trim.

i guess i will just stick to 33s know any decent ones for a good price

what about 34's would i have to trim at all and also i would like some 12.5's

I suggest you wait until the truck is done to decide. That way you can cycle the suspension and see what kind of room you have. It may be worth trimming the part of the front fenders that hangs down way low in front by the bumper. I did this and it makes a big difference clearance wise and was not hard to do.
