Tires/lifting

I can't remember the brand, but I was looking into 2" "lift" shackles that are made for jeeps. I was told they'll fit the Ex perfectly. As for the front....not sure with yours.(i have the option of cranking the torsion bars on mine)

As another option...have you ever considered a 2" body lift? I'm told that they're MUCH easier and cheaper than suspension lifting.

no torsion crank on the 92

And you cant add blocks because the Ex is spring over axle.

Ok, so now the other question, would it be worth just doing the suspension lift, or would I be better off doing a body lift as well, and if so, how does that happen?

If you are only going 2" you could do either. If you want more, I would go for suspension and upgrade brackets and radius arms for better performance.

Damn. LOL. There goes my inexpensive lift haha. What about body lifting? I've not seen it done, but if that's easier, I'd rather go that route.

lol oops, I meant spring UNDER.

Body lift is going to raise the body higher off the frame. So your not gaining any kind of clearance frame wise, but it will allow you to run larger tires.

Dang it. Now I really don't know what I should do haha.

Add a leafs.. Shackles..

Adding a leaf spring? How many would I need to get 2-3 inches of lift? Ok, then the spacers/washers for front end? What are shackles? How do they fit in the picture?

Shackles are what holds your leaf pack to the frame. Beltech 6400 chevy drop shackles workbas a lift shackle for our fords. Add a leafs can't be done bc by the time you get enough for that lift it will ride so stiff an have NO flex

Ok so now im lost. Why suggest something if its not going to work?

But they wont work for an Ex. The shackle goes around the frame instead of having a separate bracket on the side.

Bc I'm tossing out ideas then I realize it's not gonna work... Sorry
