Tires are wearing on the inside and I took it to a shop. They said they are out of adjustment. They can't push the upper a arm out far enough for the tire to ride flat on the ground.
Anyone else run into this problem. It is a 1999 ranger 4.0 4x4 body lift and t-bars turn up a bit
32-11.5-15 on 15-10 rim

Toe it in a bit, that should help some, but I would check the ball joints and tierod ends first...

I have the same truck and my T-bars are cranked. Just had it aligned with no problems. Something must be worn on your truck for them not to be able to adjust it out. All they have to do is add shims right?

It's not really shims, it's an eccentric washer.

A shim moves something in or out by taking up space. The Rangers have a square washer that gives just a little bit of adjustment, but it can be replaced with an egg-shaped one that gives more adjustment.

Not to hijack the thread but, How much did you raise your truck and how's the ride?

You could have cranked the bars too much.

If this was an alignment shop that tells you it is out of alignment, that is sounds good but if they also tell you they don't know why or how to fix it.....time to find someone who knows what they are doing. That shop sounds like a buch of green horn newbies if they cannot tell you what is causing this.

I have mine maxed and had 0 issues getting my camber where it needed to be with the proper eccentrics.

As for ride, it is fine. I have the longer Rancho front shocks which help. It was harsh before because the shocks always topped out.

All I have done is cranked the torsions. Ride is a little stiffer than stock but not bad at all. Running 31s with 3:73 gears. I like the combo for what I use it for.
