I have a quick question for all you Ranger fans. I have a 98 Ranger 4x4 with a 3.0 Liter. The Ford dealership told me it has a 4.10 rearend. It has a factory suspension lift and I just put a 3 inch body lift kit on it. I need some wheels and tires. I want to put some 35 X 12.5 15s on it, but I'm not sure that the rearend gears will affectively push the tires around. Should I stick with 33 X 12.5 15s? Any suggestions? Anybody go with anything bigger then 33s with any luck?
thanks,
Jimbo

i have a 4.0 in my 99 with 410 and i run 33x10.5 i would not go wider then 10.5 unless you want to get wheel spacers. even know my tires rub in a full turn good luck

you wont have enough room to clear 35s without fender trimming.

4.10s will really suck if your running 35s. it wouldnt be too bad with 33s though.

stick with your 33s.

My BII goes well with 4.10s and 33s but 35s would be too much for the 2.9 and stick. My Ranger with 3.0 and auto feels much weaker than the Bronc.

33s then

Thanks, I think that's what I knew, I just didn't want to spend 1,500 on tires and find out a couple months later I could have put 35s on.
