Tire size

I was looking at tires online and the size was 24.2 x 24.2 x 7.8" . Can anyone tell me what size this is?

i'm thinking they made some kind of typo on that one. i'd email them and ask them to clarify that size.

No not a typo. all the tire sizs are this way. Wal Mart has no idea what this is. I thought maybe metric . Then to try and figure out why they use this system. totally lost.

Tires usually don't come in boxes but they need a shipping size to calculate shipping costs. This is just the overall size for shipping purposes only. This has nothing to do with the actual ssize of the tire for fitment on a car.

I see the humor in this but, the tires are listed as this size not 235/75/15 or whatever.

if that is the case then if I were you, I"d buy my tires elsewhere becuase where you are looking, don't know jack about tires.
If you don't believe the facts as stated by me then by all means, buy the tires and see what you get

I never said I was buying tires. I was looking at tires and this showed up and I was wondering what it was. The ad doesnt show size other than the numbers I asked about. I have no intention of buying anything from any business with its home office located in WVa,Ky, or Arkansas
